Tree Frog Vending

Nothing!  It's free, simply because it's mutually beneficial to the site and our company both.  The benefit to the site is the convenience of having fresh drinks and snacks available for their customers and/or employees (without the site having to pay for those drinks and snacks!).  And we don't ask for any type of long-term contract, deposit, or anything else.  It's really quite easy, all you do is tell us you would like one of our vending machines at your establishment and what type of products you would like to see in it, and we take care of the rest!

It depends on whether there are special requests from the site owner/manager (we like to customize machines based on what you want in them!).  Sites are welcome to hand-pick their selections from the start, or we can put in a good variety of our best-sellers, and then adjust from there based on what is selling and what isn't.  For a list of the products we carry, please visit our "Products" page, or send us a request for the latest list to be faxed, mailed, or e-mailed to you.  We are constantly tweaking the list and adding new and exciting products!

As a general rule, 50+ employees, or a significant customer/visitor base, is what we aim for.  But basically any place where a fair amount of employees, customers, visitors, etc. have access to the machine would be an ideal location.  Examples include office buildings, apartment complexes, schools, churches, malls, manufacturing facilities, etc. 

This business is full of surprises...you can have a location with tons of employees or customers that hardly sells any items from their vending machine.  And you can have a small shop with 10 or 20 employees that use the vending machine a lot, which turns out to be a good location!  So what we'd recommend is if you're looking for a vending machine for your site, give us a call and we can either discuss the location over the phone or send someone out to inspect the site and meet with you, to determine whether it would be a good fit. 

No way!  Fresh products are very important to us.  Which is why we primarily stick with sites that have a good amount of potential vending customers, to keep a good rotation of items going.  But at any rate, at all of our sites we maintain fresh items, even if it means throwing away items that are going stale or have hit their expiration date and replacing them with new items.

We also pay close attention to what is selling and what isn't, and any items that don't seem to be very popular at a site get replaced, and we continue changing the selections as needed.  So products should never sit in your machine for long, they'll either sell or be removed.

It depends on the business really.  Small businesses we simply place the vending machine for free, which benefits their employees and/or customers, having drinks and snacks right there on site.  Although even with small sites, if it's a busy site that sells a lot of items from the vending machine, we are open to doing a commission (a good example would be a busy auto-body shop), usually in the 5-10% range.  Medium to large businesses we'll provide a 10-30% commission, again depending on the site and how well the machine would do there.  

Absolutely!  At Tree Frog Vending, we're proud to contribute to the communities we service in a positive way, and would gladly donate the above mentioned commission to the non-profit's fund, the charity of their choice, or whatever other arrangement was preferred.  In fact, we'd take it a step further and give higher commissions to a church, school, fire station, police station, or similar facility than we would to comparably sized businesses.  The healthy vending machines mentioned earlier might also be an excellent option here, especially for schools...there is a definite trend in schools away from candy bars and sodas to foods that help promote a more healthy lifestyle for young people.  A vending machine filled with healthy yet tasty drinks and snacks would accomplish the dual purpose of bringing additional funding to the facility, while encouraging the kids (and staff, of course!) to eat healthier.

We might still be able to help.  While we can't place snack machines outside of our delivery area, we are able to place Coke machines basically anywhere in the state.  The machine would be placed and serviced by Coke, but you'd be working with our company on the logistics...the advantage there being that while Coke has many thousands of accounts, we're a smaller company and can give each account personalized attention!  Then if/when we expand into your area, Tree Frog Vending would then take over servicing the Coke machine.  So even if you're way out of our delivery area, call us anyway and we'll see what we can get set up for you.

We work primarily with Coke because they have the best setup...they offer lots of selections to choose from, the site can choose 12 oz cans or 20 oz bottles, and the pricing is cheaper on most items.  So 95% of our sites choose Coke machines.  But we do offer Pepsi machines for those who prefer it, with the caveat that the machine has to contain 20 oz bottles, at $1.50 each.  The machines are also serviced by Pepsi rather than our staff (we service the Coke machines ourselves, Coke simply places them for us). 

Dr. Pepper vending machines are also available in some areas.  We also have other options such as combo vending machines which can be stocked with anything...Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, etc.
